Web platform development

Applications built to carry real traffic, real data and real users — not prototypes that fall over on launch day.

A web platform is not a website with a login bolted on. It has real data models, real permissions, and real consequences when it goes down. We build them on Next.js, Node and PostgreSQL because that stack is boring in the right way: fast to develop, cheap to host, and easy for someone else to pick up after us.

Every platform we have shipped runs in production today. El Maître serves a bilingual legal corpus of over 8,000 articles with vector search; Taland matches candidates to jobs with AI scoring. Both have real users and neither is a demo.

We handle the parts that usually get skipped: database migrations that are safe to run twice, rate limiting, backups, and a deployment you can repeat without a checklist.

What you get

  • A data model and schema designed before any screen is built
  • Authentication, roles and permissions
  • An admin area so you can run the thing without calling us
  • Migrations, backups and a repeatable deploy
  • Documentation a future developer can actually follow

Common questions

How long does a platform take?

A focused first version is usually 6 to 12 weeks. We scope it so there is something running at the end of every cycle, not one delivery at the end.

Do you work with an existing codebase?

Yes. We have taken over half-finished projects and shipped them. We start with an audit so you know what you actually have before committing to anything.

Who owns the code?

Your domain, content and data are yours, and you have unlimited use of what we build. The code itself remains ours, which keeps prices low; a full source code transfer is available on quote.
